The Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I) hosts an internship website (“Site”) upon which both its members and students looking for internships in the field of university and college focusText have access after agreeing to the terms and conditions of this Waiver, Release and Disclaimer. ACUHO-I merely hosts this Site. It neither screens, reviews, nor makes any representations regarding the accuracy or veracity of the information posted from either (a) the student candidates who post their resumes in interest of obtaining an internship, or (b) the internship positions/opportunities posted by organizations.
In consideration of being given the opportunity to review or post information on this Site, I personally and on behalf of the organization of which I am affiliated (collectively “I”), waive and release ACUHO-I and its agents, board members, officers, managers, and employees from all claims, demands, actions, liabilities (including under any federal, state, local law, constitution or judicial action of any kind), relating to any damage, loss, or injury of whatsoever kind, nature or description that may arise or be sustained by me as a result of use of this Site.
I acknowledge, that the resumes posed on this Site contain information created and maintained solely by individuals unrelated to ACUHO-I and the positions posted by ACUHO-I members contain information created and maintained solely by those members without any input or review from ACUHO-I. ACUHO-I makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, veracity, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of the information posted by third parties on this Site. I agree to perform my own evaluation of the information posted on this Site and I will not rely on any statement from ACUHO-I regarding the quality of this information in making any decision related to it or draw any conclusions about the accuracy, veracity, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of the information posted simply because it has been posted on the Site.
It is the sole responsibility of each user of the Site to independently investigate and determine the suitability and bona fides of any person or organization with whom any understanding, arrangement or agreement is made.
